1987 - 1999
On June 1, 1987, Pastor Donald LeMaster
began his ministry with us. Besides faithfully expounding the
Scriptures weekly, he undertook the renovation of the interior
of the Church, completely redecorating the auditorium. Later,
we readjusted the interior of the Fellowship Hall, in order to
make room for restrooms on the first floor. Also, the kitchen
has been completely remodeled. All this was accomplished
at a cost of over $100,000, given in the past ten years by members and
friends. Reconstruction has been and continues to proceed as funds
become available. In July, 1997, the church's internet ministry was
launched. In 1998 a domain name and server resources were donated by
Boston Technologies, Thomas Dye became webmaster. In 1998 the side walks and steps were replaced and new
railings were installed. God’s people saw to it that the finances for
this $10,000 project were sacrificially given in less then one year.
On May 16, 1999, Pastor LeMaster announced his resignation effective July 31, 1999. God has called him to serve at the
Brooklyn Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY.
Patch The Pirate Club
actively trained our children in grades 1-6 to sing and share Christian messages through skits and plays. We've looked forward to their performances during Sunday services.
