1972 - 1979

Pastor Glenn Seaver came on February 3, 1972. After being without a shepherd for thirteen months, it was gratifying to have a spiritual leader of many talents. He immediately realized that the 100^th anniversary was only a few months away and set elaborate plans in motion for this celebration. Many people were involved and it was a week long to be remembered.
Pastor Seaver conducted a large choir, therefore, when the 200^th anniversary of our Country was celebrated in 1976, "I Love America" was capably presented. He resigned November, 1977. Pastor Seaver is serving in Bethel Baptist, Vestal, NY.

Rev. Levi Goehring was our interim pastor for many months. He, his wife and daughter endeared themselves to us by their sweet Christian walk, unassuming attitude and his fatherly wisdom, to say nothing of the excellent Bible teaching, sprinkled with humor, given us each Lord’s Day. He is now with the Lord.
