1927 - 1929
The former church was disposed of and the
congregation met in the Edgarton
school house while waiting for the church to be completed. On October 16, 1927, the cornerstone was laid.
The Hammond organ was installed and the Maas chimes were given by Mrs. Julia Mahr. The 57th anniversary was celebrated in 1929 and, it is interesting to note, it was the custom to call the roll on such occasions. Every member was expected to be present and to respond with scripture or testimony.
